5th Anniversary Event
Our 5th Anniversary event was a tremendous success! More than 350 people joined us for lunch at the Arctic Club in Seattle. 
We were honored to have our board members, supporters, and elected officials celebrate with us and hear from Nobel-Laureate Joseph Stiglitz.
Executive Director Remy Trupin highlighted our past successes, and our plans going forward including our “Framework for Prosperity,” which lays out our vision for Washington state and how to get us there. We call for investments in our future prosperity and a revenue system that works for everyone.
Professor Stiglitz discussed how income inequality has increased dramatically over the last 20 years.
He noted that, “Austerity at the state and federal level will not get people back to work…there are alternatives to the ‘slash and burn’ approach which jeopardizes our society’s future.”
