Yesterday, we hosted a webinar on the McCleary decision and its implications for the future of our state. McCleary v. State is the Washington State Supreme Court’s decision which mandated a significant boost in K-12 school funding.

Our analysts Kim Justice and Michael Mitchell explain the decision and what it means for the state budget, this legislative session and in the years to come.

They also review critical investments that fall outside of the parameters of the McCleary decision that are necessary to improving outcomes and increasing opportunity for all kids in Washington.

Finally, Kim and Michael highlight potential solutions that can help us meet the funding requirements of the decision. You can view the full webinar below.
