April (she/her) was a communications specialist with the Budget and Policy Center.

She has been working in and around the Washington State Legislature since 2008 and has a bachelor’s degree in law, societies, and justice from the University of Washington. April believes that achieving economic justice will require reimagining systems and prioritizing the inherent value and dignity in every person.
