Everyone in our state, no matter their immigration status or primary language, deserves to live a healthy life, provide for themselves and their loved ones, and have access to opportunity. The vitality of our cities and towns are greater because of the many contributions of our immigrant community members. Yet many undocumented workers and refugees are consistently denied equitable access to the same resources and opportunities that citizens can access. Lawmakers must ensure resources and opportunities are welcoming, reflective of our newly arrived neighbors, and accessible to all.
