Jennifer led the Budget & Policy Center’s research and policy team, and she served on the organization’s leadership team. She oversaw the Center’s Progress in Washington series, which tracks our state’s progress and identifies policy solutions to build a more inclusive economy.
Her previous roles at our organization were associate director of social and health policy and senior policy analyst. Before that, Jennifer worked in the San Francisco Mayor’s Office, at PolicyLink, and at the University of Southern California Program for Environmental and Regional Equity and the Center for the Study of Immigrant Integration.
Her research has focused on economic growth and resiliency, regional equity, immigrant integration, environmental justice, and issues related to children, youth, and families. She holds a master’s degree in urban planning from the University of California, Los Angeles.
