The Washington State Budget and Policy Center takes positions on statewide ballot initiatives related to the health, well-being, economic security, and racial equity of people and communities in Washington state. We also provide analysis on measures or referendums that have economic implications for the future of our state.

In 2026, we are endorsing No on I-645 (an initiative that would overturn the Millionaires Tax), No on I-001 (an initiative that would endanger child abuse victims) and No on I-638 (an initiative that would keep transgender girls from participating in school sports).
