The Working Families Tax Credit (WFTC) is a new annual cash tax rebate of up to $1,200 for more than 400,000 Washington state households with low and moderate incomes. This new credit will go into effect in 2023.
Unlike similar programs at the federal level, the Working Families Tax Credit will also be available to people who file their taxes using an Individual Tax Identification Number (ITIN), which includes undocumented immigrants.
