Budget Matters Conference

In 2012, we proudly held the first-ever budget and policy conference in Washington state. Since then, our successful Budget Matters Policy Conference has annually attracted more than 300 advocates, policy experts, legislators, and more from around the state -- gathered to shape the debate on policy priorities and how to create shared prosperity.

In 2015, in response to partner feedback, we started something new. During supplemental budget years, we are hosting a half-day Budget Matters Summit focused on big-picture policies. (In 2015, that big-picture policy focus was the need to advance racial equity in policymaking.) In years when the biennial budget will be released in the upcoming legislative session, we will still offer the full-day Budget Matters Policy Conference. We think this format will allow us to keep the content fresh in supplemental budget years.

Stay tuned for more details about our 2017 Budget Matters policy event.
